What:
Visit Cambodian villages and schools while experiencing Asian cultural immersion Escorted by Jenni Lipa, Founder and President and Ksenija Olmer, Vice-President of the Cambodian Community Dream Organization (CCDO).

How:Volunteer reading to children

During our visits, there will be supervised opportunities to observe and interact with children in schools, read to them in libraries, play with them in preschools, serve breakfast in canteens, play sports, help in computer centers, and meet villagers in their family compounds & social enterprises. Come and discover Cambodia with cultural enrichment programs including the understanding of local history, temples, art, traditional dance and cooking.

Logistics:

Travel, lodging, meals, sightseeing, and transportation organized by Spa Trek, the travel partner of CCDO. Group size: max 14 participants. Daily transport from the hotel to sites in safe, comfortable, air-conditioned vans.

Evening Fun:
Find bargains at the Night Market. Have a long massage! Learn to prepare a delicious Cambodian meal in Khmer Cooking School. Enjoy traditional Khmer dance performance. Browse at the Night Market.

History, Art & Architecture:

Revel in the spectacular Angkor Wat Temples, the carved city of Angkor Thom, the giant heads of Bayon Temple, and the jungle temple of TaPhrom. Immerse yourself in History at the National Museum. Visit traditional villages and enjoy the unspoiled countryside.

Payment:

Checks payable to STEVEJEN INC. and mailed to Gene Dunham, C/O Valerie Wilson Travel, 605 Third Ave- 19th Floor, New York, NY 10158. Deposit of $500 required upon booking, the balance to be paid by October 15, 2020. No Credit cards, only checks or bank wires.

Cancellation:

  • 60 days prior to visit: 50% penalty (up to November 12, 2020).
  • 45-60 days: 70% penalty. No refunds for cancellations within 45 days of departure (November 27, 2020).
  • Trip insurance suggested.
